1.7 Ocean Event Follow up: Part 1

Over the weekend, OC designers and design lovers (and quite a bunch of 'mesa hipsters) came together at the 1.7 Ocean design event. One of the highlights of the event was the showcase houses by four local interior designers. We've been following the progress of one of them, Natalie Umbert of Atelier Interior Design. Last Friday, the day before the event, we got a sneak peak to see the almost completed results. Just to refresh, here is a link to her original moodboard.

Each of the four designers were given the same floor plan. Natalie's take had a beautiful, comfortable, feminine flair that stood out from the other houses, but each had merit and unique solutions.

We will be posting some great ideas we saw as well as highlighting the other three designers take on their showcase space. Stay tuned...
