Meditation Mushroom Stool at Plastica

071807medstool.jpg

"Whoooo... are... YOU?!" Who can forget the infamous Catepillar who sat atop the mushroom and spoke rude sentences to Alice? Now you can reenact your own adventures in Wonderland with this cute little Meditation Mushroom Stool available at Plastica. It also comes in two fantastic colorways (orange and brown)...

However, at only 9.5" in diameter and 7.5" tall, it may be more suited for kids, but how cute would this look in a little corner or by a chair or low coffee table? Now we just need to go find a hookah...
($100- available at Plastica)

well, I want to sit by its side, put my head on it and take a beauty nap.

This reminds me of a neat little stool I once encountered... it was like a toy top... a tiny inverted base and a round disk of a seat.
The woman who had it said she found it at IKEA - but I never did see anything similar online (it's likely for children - but I thought it would be a great way for an adult to work abs a bit while watching tv)
We don't have an IKEA here... so do they just rotate their merchandise a ton or what?

Reminds me very fondly of my childhood in the 1970's.

It does look like something from the 70's and in either brown or orange, it's even more so like it should be from that era.

Cute though and too bad it's only in the small size though.

Wow, cute! It is REALLY tiny though. I'm not so fond of the colors either.

The loose upholstery on the sides reminds me of a pin cushion. Maybe in a patterned fabric, I might like it better -- the way it is it a bit literal for me.
