University scrap pile, we made our table from discarded drafting table tops. IKEA is also very helpful for the financially challenged.
What inspired you?
Natural daylight flooding into the space and views of the garden; the space is very dynamic with punched out windows and vaulted ceilings; a glass door to the small garden brings the grass into view allowing the two areas to connect. We thought we would need more space for two people but the ample volume has avoided us any feeling of crowdedness.

What a great view! I'm envious that you see trees when you look out your windows.
Nice work with the tile in the Kitchen. Very professional installation.
i'm so jealous of that picture window! are those architectural models mounted over your kitchen?
Is that an authentic Poulsen Fixture? Nice.
A little too much blonde furniture here; the overall feeling becomes a little dull, rather than restful. How about introducing some pattern and/or texture? The hanging lamp over the dining table helps.
Just average, there isn't a lot of personality here. Though, I love that hanging lamp.
Wow, your apartment looks great. It's only 460sq feet? Your great use of the space makes it look so much bigger!
A nice space architecturally, although could use a bit more zip and zing. Not a fan of housing a library in the kitchen, though, as books become congealed with cooking oils which then attracts a hard-to-clean furry dust....
