Everyone has their own way of doing things... especially when it comes to cleaning. Where do you start? What do you tackle next? We're curious to know your bathroom cleaning rituals... Is there something you always have to do first, and why? Have you ever cleaned one way, but then switched over to a new way and had better results? Were you taught a specific order/technique to clean your bathroom or did you learn by yourself? Share with us your bathroom cleaning ritual in the comments!

I've always started with the light fixture and mirror, working my way down to the floor then around the room. Not sure why I do it that way

Def. the toilet. I like to get the gnarly stuff out of the way first!

I *hate* cleaning house and especially the bathroom. So I clean (as you enter the door), left to right, top to bottom, cleaning the floor as I back out of the room. I read that pro's clean every room that way and I wanted to know how to get it done the quickest, most efficient way possible! Did I mention I hate cleaning house? Ah well, at least now it doesn't take me as long...

When I was 14 I got a summer job cleaning houses (under the table job) with Service Master. I learned a lot that summer and it has served me well in cleaning my own house. I start with dusting and cleaning as Rucy mentioned, then do toilet, all surfaces, tub, sink, mirrors and polish faucets and finally the floor. It takes me all of 10 minutes at this point to clean my bathroom.

i don't know what i do first. i have no memory of an order. i start with whatever looked dirty in the first place and inspired me to clean.

Always start with the least germy to the most germy! Last thing you want to do is spread toilet funk to your sink. Toilet cleaner goes in first to sit, then mirror, sink, shower, floor, toilet.
