We spotted this kinda retro-inspired set of flatware in the Novemeber 07 issue of Domino Magazine. We love the idea of adding a little extra warmth to the dinner table, and the natural finished cedar handles of the "Bark" flatware set by Calvin Klein do it in typical Calvin style: modern and minimal.
Unfortunately, in true Calvin Klein style, they're also a bit pricey. Domino lists a 5 piece set for $50 at Macys.com, but we couldn't find them on the Macy's site. However, after a little googling, we did find them on several sites (here and here, for example) for only $39 a set. We're hoping that maybe someone will offer a more affordable version soon, so we're keeping an eye out since now we have these wood handles on the brain! Does anyone have wood handled flatware? or seen something like this for less?
